Short
Term Groups for Adolescents

Open to
participants with less than four years of group psychotherapy
experience.
This workshop
will provide theoretical and practical information about short term
adolescent groups. The focus will be on anger management and stress
management. Two models will be presented including manualized
treatments for anger and stress. The results of two studies on the
effectiveness of these programs will be presented.

The attendee will
be able to:
1. Apply in
her/his practice the two manuals in assisting adolescents to deal
with anger and stress.
2. Learn some
criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of short term Groups.
3. Identify the
specific characteristics which are necessary to be incorporated in
working with adolescents in Groups
