“The Mindful Therapist: Integrating Self Reflection and Self Regulation”

Structured as a contemplative retreat, this workshop suggests skills and strategies for metabolizing stress and trauma, deepening the therapist’s capacity to bear witness in the face of suffering through reflection and self regulation. Participants will explore resiliency practices: mindfulness, breathwork, trauma sensitive yoga, laughter, and the poetic narrative within the holding environment of group.

Learning Objectives:

The attendee will be able to:
1) Practice at least one strategy for stress management.
2) Identify the neural link between trauma and self regulation.
3) Better understand the specialized concept of "neural integration" in cultivating resilience.
