This workshop
will discuss and demonstrate an innovative relationship treatment
paradigm integrating interpersonal neurobiology with group
therapy. This relationship-focused group treatment (RGT), a separate
group therapy for each partner, uses an intersubjective approach
combined with Imago relationship techniques and is designed to
sustain and nourish relationships.

Objectives:
The attendee will
be able to:
1. Cite two
ways that psychoneurological dysregulation affects relationships.
2. Specify two
curative factors of relationship-focused group therapy that
ameliorate early attachment wounds.
3. Describe
two ways that the group therapist can constructively address
projective gridlocks in the group.
