Mirroring in Groups: Providing a Sustaining and Nurturing
Environment for Conflict Resolution

This workshop
will provide a group experience where members can explore the power
of the mirrors and mirroring in group. How the group as "a hall of
mirrors" with multiple reflections and mirroring can allow members
to become more aware of their defenses and identify denied parts of
the self.

Objectives:
The attendee will
be able to:
1. Define and
understand the concept of mirroring in groups and how it relates to
attachment theory and neurology.
2. Observe the
role of the leader in creating a milieu of nurturing environment.
3. Demonstrate how
the role of the collective wisdom of the members as multiple
observers, interpreters, and maturational agents contributes to the
development of self awareness conflict resolution and emotional
growth.
