Neuroscience and
Attachment Theory Meets Weight Regulation Groups

Integration of cutting edge science
based theory and its application to weight regulation groups brings
hope to the current pseudo- cure of weight loss. Groups using
methods informed by attachment theory, development trauma, and
neuroscience add new dimensions to group therapy application and can
result in authentic change of body and self image.

The attendee will
be able to:
1. Develop fresh group strategies for
the person with challenging weight regulation problems.
2. Apply attachment theory and neuro-science to group development.
3. Create treatment strategies for affect regulation and
dissociative self states.
