Creating and Expanding Your Group Psychotherapy Practice
Chair:
Participants in
this workshop will learn ways to create, streamline, and expand their
existing and proposed group psychotherapy practices. We will
extrapolate as needed to diverse populations, settings and
theoretical modalities. Topics will include preparing the
patient, selection composition, problem patients, recordkeeping,
co-therapy, the contract (agreement), boundaries, fee issues,
electronic considerations, and marketing strategies.

Objectives:
The attendee will
be able to:
1. Sharpen his/her
skills in preparing patients for group psychotherapy;
2. Recognize and
attend to boundary issues;
3.
Prepare and
complete group psychotherapy contract.

marketing strategies.
